Badlands Images website is dedicated to the portrayal of the beautiful landscapes of southern Alberta and the Drumheller Dinosaur Valley. The sedimentary strata exposed by the Red Deer River have been weathered into fantastical and unique shapes. The vast openness of the prairie with its undulating hills and coulees contrast sharply with the rugged majesty of the Red Deer Valley vistas.
These scenes have been captured by the camera of Ron Kenworthy an area resident privileged to live through the seasons in this haunting landcape. ( See About for bio ).
Images are for sale in digital or print format at reasonable prices and delivered in a reliable and timely fashion. The images can be enhanced by Ron's partnership with Kellie Smith of Kel's Korners ( kelskorners@hotmail.com ) through her artistic use of matte and framing. The panorama image at the top of the home page is available upon request using the email address in Contacts. A set of Drumheller Valley Postcards (see Post Card gallery) is also available at a very reasonable price.
In the future Ron will share some of the images of other amateur photographers and artists in the area to broaden the offering and provide exposure to these creative and talented individuals.
